Discovery Parks hits a six with Triple M partnership for summer of cricket

Discovery Parks has teamed up with Triple M as the naming rights partner for the 2023-24 summer of cricket broadcasts.

This partnership will see Discovery Parks take centre stage during iconic Aussie summer moments, including the Boxing Day Test and Sydney’s Pink Test in January. Discovery Parks will also be featured across Triple M’s podcast platforms on LiSTNR, including Willow Talk hosted by Adam Peacock and former Australian wicket-keeper Brad Haddin.

Lahnee White, Chief Marketing Officer at Discovery Parks, believes the partnership brings together two institutions of summer and will help fast-track brand awareness over the holiday season.

"Cricket is at the heart of Australian summers and a time when people are actively tuned into their radios listening to Triple M’s ball-by-ball broadcasts. This is another example of a strategic media partnership designed to fast-track brand frame and expose our Discovery Parks brand to an engaged, national audience at a time when holidays are front of mind. With 87 locations around Australia, we want Discovery Parks to be synonymous with the Aussie summer holiday, just as cricket on the radio is," White said.

As part of the partnership, Discovery Parks will feature prominently on air across three Test Matches against Pakistan, and two Tests and three One-Day Internationals against the West Indies.

Furthermore, Discovery Parks will be integrated into Triple M Cricket’s national summer marketing campaign, which goes live on Monday 27 November with audio, out-of-home and AV assets.

G’day Group, the parent company of Discovery Parks, was founded by Grant Wilckens in 2004 and is now has more than 300 properties across the country. The company reached $1 billion status in 2020 and has ambitions to double in size in the next five years.
