Fastter and Spriggy unite,

Safe web, parents' delight.
Fastter and Spriggy team up to launch child-friendly 5G mobile service
Australian telecommunications studio, Fastter, has joined forces with children’s pocket money app, Spriggy, to launch Spriggy Mobile. The new venture is designed to provide a safer way for children to connect to the internet, with 5G plans that include safety features and parental controls developed with Fastter APIs.
These features are fully integrated into the Spriggy app, which is already used by over 1.2 million parents and children across Australia.
Fastter's solution allows for the launch of a branded mobile network with zero cost and zero risk, reducing the time and capital expenditure traditionally associated with launching a telco vertical. The solution also removes regulatory and compliance risk and the need for lengthy carrier negotiations.
"We are thrilled to be the telecom partner of choice for Spriggy Mobile as they launch both a new mobile brand and an innovative service. Fastter is committed to creating ways for brands to seamlessly integrate mobile connectivity into their offering so they can focus on what they do best while Fastter handles the complexities of the telco industry," said Damien Hansen, Co-Founder of Fastter.
The partnership with Fastter has allowed Spriggy to establish itself in a new vertical in a capital-efficient way, without the need to carry extra regulatory and compliance burdens. The collaboration has also enabled Spriggy Mobile to maintain its distinctive brand identity and leverage its existing digital footprint on hundreds of thousands of devices around the country.
"Partnering with Fastter means we don’t have to carry the extra regulatory and compliance burden and were able to establish ourselves in a new vertical in a capital efficient way. It was also crucial for us that Spriggy Mobile was able to remain distinctively Spriggy and leverage our existing digital footprint on hundreds of thousands of devices around the country. We were able to achieve that in collaboration with the Fastter team utilising their suite of powerful API’s," said Scott Eddington, Chief Commercial Officer at Spriggy.
Fastter's services are powered by proprietary technology that can be integrated into existing customer touchpoints using the Optus 5G network. The business model includes a revenue share model, full-service customer care and contact centre, no liability for legal, regulatory and compliance risk, and no need to employ a telco product and operations team.
