Accenture and Avanade unleash Microsoft Fabric and co-pilot solutions for AI-driven business transformation

Accenture and Avanade have unveiled new offerings aimed at helping organisations accelerate their data readiness and lay the groundwork for AI implementation. The initiative, which the parties say is powered by a practice of 4,000 Fabric-certified professionals, applies Microsoft Fabric to streamline data management across thousands of sources.

The companies are also extending their capabilities to customise and enhance Microsoft Copilot solutions, enabling businesses to reimagine their operations with generative AI. This move is part of Accenture’s $3B investment in data and AI, with the firm and Avanade building a practice of certified professionals to facilitate the deployment of Microsoft Fabric.

New Microsoft Fabric accelerators and assets have been introduced, including a security readiness assessment and a migration approach designed to expedite the modernisation of data platforms. Industry and functional accelerators have also been developed for various sectors.

Accenture and Avanade are collaborating with Microsoft to improve data access, management, and actionability across its product organisation. The companies are also partnering with a global food business to transform how its employees access information and gain insights across its operations.

In terms of AI application development, Accenture and Avanade are set to support organisations with custom generative AI applications, leveraging Microsoft Copilots, Azure OpenAI, Azure Machine Learning, and the Microsoft platform.

The companies are also working with Repsol, a global multi-energy company, on the adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot. For Ferrovial, a large global infrastructure company, Accenture and Avanade are maximising the value of its Copilot program.

New Copilot assets have been introduced to accelerate adoption, offering functional, industry, and role-specific capabilities across areas such as supply chain, finance, HR, IT, retail, banking, insurance, and oil and gas.
