Hoozu acquires 26 Talent in strategic expansion into APAC region
Hoozu, an influencer marketing agency and a subsidiary of IZEA Worldwide, has acquired 26 Talent, an Australian talent management agency.
This acquisition is part of Hoozu's strategy to expand its footprint in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. 26 Talent will be integrated into Huume, Hoozu’s talent representation business. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Mikhailla Fitzgerald, Founder and CEO of 26 Talent, will lead Huume and report directly to Natalie Giddings, CEO of Hoozu. The acquisition is part of IZEA’s commitment to growing its presence in the APAC region, both organically and through strategic acquisitions.
Giddings was excited to welcome 26 Talent into the Hoozu family. “Their impressive roster of talent and innovative approach to influencer marketing perfectly align with our mission to lead the industry in APAC. This acquisition not only broadens our capabilities but also enhances the value we bring to our clients and creators," she said.
Giddings further highlighted Hoozu's commitment to supporting creators. “At Hoozu, one of our core mandates is to champion creators to ensure they have the support and opportunities needed to thrive. The industry is moving at an incredible velocity, and by integrating 26 Talent’s expertise and network, we are well-positioned to lead this dynamic market and drive forward impactful, innovative campaigns for our clients and creators,” she added.
Mikhailla Fitzgerald, Founder and CEO of 26 Talent, also expressed her enthusiasm about the merger. “Joining forces with Hoozu opens up remarkable opportunities for our talent and clients. We are thrilled to become part of a forward-thinking company that shares our commitment to excellence and innovation in influencer marketing,” said Fitzgerald.
ZEA Worldwide is a marketing technology company providing software and professional services that enable brands to collaborate and transact with social influencers and content creators.
