Sorrell's Media.Monks taps ex VMLY&R, Publicis exec Matthew Godfrey as APAC Head of Content
S4 Capital's Media.Monks has appointed Matthew Godfrey as its new Executive Vice President, Head of Content for Asia-Pacific (APAC).
Prior to joining Media.Monks, Godfrey served as the CEO of food tech start-up Nutrition Innovation and has held CEO positions at agency businesses such as VMLY&R and Publicis Worldwide.
Godfrey brings over 15 years of experience leading innovative businesses in the region and is set to work alongside Kenny Griffiths, Managing Director APAC of Data, Digital and Media, to elevate the company's single global P&L model.
Godfrey's strategic focus will be on expanding Media.Monks' business model in key APAC markets, including China, Australia, Japan, Korea, and Singapore. His appointment comes as part of the company's ongoing efforts to reshape its leadership structure in the region. In APAC, Media.Monks has two hub offices that house deep creative and technical talent in Malaysia and India.
