Adobe unveils AI innovations in Acrobat, partners with TikTok for enhanced content creation
Adobe has added new AI features to Adobe Acrobat with the integration of Adobe Firefly's generative image capabilities, enabling customers to create and edit images in PDFs using text prompts.
The integration was one of several new AI innovations announced by Adobe at the Cannes Lions International Festival for Creativity, alongside a new partnership with TikTok that will see the integration of TikTok's Commercial Music Library into Adobe Express via the Symphony Assist add-on.
New features in Acrobat AI Assistant, a conversational engine deeply integrated into Reader and Acrobat workflows, will also allow customers to ask questions, get insights and create content from information across groups of PDFs – and other document types – including Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, text files and more. It's in addition to enhanced virtual meeting transcript capabilities in AI Assistant.
Adobe Firefly is trained on licensed content, including moderated Adobe Stock content and public domain images where the copyright has expired and is designed to be commercially safe.

With generative AI we can advance the category again with image creation and insights across a new range of document types, empowering every customer with a deeper understanding and ability to transform information into compelling content – with the ease and speed of a simple prompt.”
TikTok's Commercial Music Library is a global music library pre-cleared by TikTok that aims to make it easier for brands to find music to soundtrack their TikTok content and create at scale. Adobe is now a badged TikTok Marketing Partner.

By making TikTok’s Commercial Music Library easily accessible within Adobe Express, we can now offer our customers an even easier and faster way of producing more effective TikTok content that works for their business.”
