Rebecca Burton joins WSP Australia as director of marketing & communications

Rebecca Burton has been appointed as the Director of Marketing & Communications at WSP in Australia.

Burton brings over 30 years of experience in professional services to the role, with a particular focus on brand building and helping businesses realise their market ambitions. Her career has spanned senior leadership roles at professional services firms including EY and various legal firms, with her work taking her across Australia, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland.

In her new role, Burton will lead WSP’s brand, marketing and communications in Australia, working closely with global teams to support the firm’s strategic growth ambitions. WSP is a professional services consulting firm with approximately 6,000 employees across 14 offices in Australia. The firm is currently developing its 2025-2027 Strategic Plan.

"I believe that a brand is what a brand does. WSP shows this by bringing broad and diverse technical capabilities and a consistent whole-of-firm approach to deliver an authentic and distinctive experience for clients," Burton said. "The passion of WSP’s people to deliver excellence and value for clients and to build a better, more sustainable future really shines through."

WSP CEO in Australia, Greg Kane, also welcomed Burton, saying, "Rebecca joins our firm at an exciting time as we develop our 2025-2027 Strategic Plan and continue to grow and innovate to help our clients solve increasingly complex and urgent challenges."
