Hit network unveils sizzling summer line-up for 2023

The Hit Network has unveiled its summer programming for 2023, featuring a mix of familiar voices and festive specials. The line-up, which kicks off on Monday, 4 December, includes 'The Jimmy & Nath Show', the 'Hamish & Andy' podcast, 'Nights with Seany B', and special broadcasts for Christmas Day and New Year's Eve.

Jimmy Smith and Nath Roye, the dynamic duo behind 'The Jimmy & Nath Show', will take the helm of national Breakfast across Hit stations from 6-9am weekdays starting 4 December. The pair will also launch a nation-wide challenge dubbed 'Left Lieutenants' on 22 December, aimed at encouraging Australian pedestrians to keep left when walking.

In the Drive slot, listeners can look forward to the 'Hamish & Andy' podcast, hosted by the comedic duo Hamish Blake and Andy Lee. The podcast, which was ranked #1 in the Australian Podcast Ranker Top 150 Podcasts for October 2023, will be broadcast across Hit stations from 4-6pm weekdays.

'Nights with Seany B', hosted by Sean Brown, will air nationally from 6-10pm. Nic Kelly will take over the night-time shift throughout January.

The network’s festive feature, 'Hitmas', will return on Christmas Day with LiSTNR’s biggest talent and Aussie artists playing festive tunes. The Hit Network will also broadcast a New Year’s Eve special, with more details to be announced soon.

Amanda Lee, Head of Hit Metro Content and 101.9 The Fox Content Director, expressed her excitement about the upcoming programming.

"As we wrap another fantastic year, there’s no slowing down for the Hit Network; in fact we are just starting to heat things up with our summer programming," she said. "It’s so exciting to have Jimmy and Nath on national Breakfast and we know everyone will love to hear even more from them over the next few weeks. Likewise, we’re always proud to bring the Hamish & Andy podcast back to radio for our listeners and it is fantastic to welcome back Seany B and Nic Kelly for the night-time shift. With this amazing line up, summer can’t come quick enough."
