Australian businesses GPTStrategic and BidWrite have joined forces to launch an AI-generated tender writing platform, 'bidwritegpt', aimed at brands and businesses. This innovative platform is touted to halve the time it takes for businesses to write tenders, marking a significant shift in the tender-writing landscape.

GPTStrategic, a product development studio, specialises in building enterprise-grade generative AI solutions. BidWrite, on the other hand, is an award-winning organisation offering specialised tender and proposal management services. The collaboration between these two industry leaders has resulted in the creation of 'bidwritegpt', a platform that utilises four AI 'assistants' or agents that operate with a degree of autonomy, akin to turbocharged chatbots.

"We realised there were two options. Get with the Gen AI program ASAP or potentially be put out of business," says Nigel Dennis, co-founder of BidWrite. He further adds, "Everyone in the industry has now realised what’s bearing down on them. Some other tender-writing businesses have sought to create Gen AI tools. More commonly, tech companies with minimal tender-writing domain expertise are creating solutions they hope will appeal to businesses that have previously used tender writers."

The 'bidwritegpt' platform has reportedly halved the time and effort BidWrite staff need to put into a bid. This efficiency is expected to allow businesses to double the number of tenders they are involved in. "Even in the unlikely event the process isn’t further automated, BidWrite’s clients can now double the number of tenders they are involved in," says Andrew Gunnis, co-founder of GPTStrategic.

BidWrite has been using iterations of 'bidwritegpt' with great success and is now in negotiations to help several listed companies implement the platform. The platform's success is further underscored by BidWrite's win rate of about 70%, a significant increase from the industry-standard average win rate for tenders of about 20%.

"Organisations that invest in the bidwritegpt platform can therefore look forward to a healthy return for a modest investment," Gunnis adds. The same AI tools that allow for automation are expected to facilitate an upping of a business’s win rate.

This partnership between GPTStrategic and BidWrite, and the subsequent launch of 'bidwritegpt', signifies a step towards the future of tender writing, where AI plays a pivotal role in increasing efficiency and success rates.
