Impact.com's new dawn.
Impact.com taps former Blis, ARN exec Emma-Jayne Owens to drive partnership economy in APJ
Partnership management platform Impact.com has appointed Emma-Jayne Owens to the newly created senior management role of Senior Director, Community and Enablement for the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region.
Owens joins Impact.com from adtech business Blis, where she was managing director APAC. She has also previously spent time as Chief Commercial Officer at Australian Radio Network, as well as senior leadership roles at Big Mobile and ninemsn (MI9).
In the new role, Owens will be responsible for leading all external and internal stakeholder training, advocacy, and community enablement activities across the APJ region. Her remit will cover a range of initiatives including external thought leadership roundtables, partner and customer networking events, internal sales coaching, and accelerating the adoption of impact.com's industry certification program, the Partnerships Experience Academy (PXA). The PXA already boasts over 30,000 learners globally.
APAC Managing Director at impact.com, Adam Furness, said: "We're bringing in a leader of EJ's pedigree because we're committed to driving the advancement of the partnership economy across APJ. Her expertise in building high-impact industry relationships and education programs will be instrumental as we continue to empower our community of brands, agencies and publishers to unlock growth through affiliate, influencer and customer referral marketing - especially critical as the industry navigates rising customer acquisition costs and tighter marketing budgets."
Speaking about her new role, Owens said: "What excites me most about this role is the opportunity to combine my industry leadership and coaching experience with my passion for people and connection, which is what the Partnership Economy is all about. I'm looking forward to building programs, events and initiatives that deepen industry knowledge and help inspire and upskill the next generation of partnership marketing leaders."
