Publicis Sapient aligns with Google Cloud to drive GenAI adoption
Publicis Groupe's digital transformation arm, Publicis Sapient, has struck a global partnership with Google Cloud, outlining plans to increase the adoption of generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) and scale Google's technology to enterprise customers.
The partnership will establish a dedicated Google Business Unit and a new Google Center of Excellence.
The joint go-to-market strategy will increase alignment of Publicis Sapient and Google Cloud's sales, marketing, and engineering teams. Publicis Sapient will utilise a combination of proprietary AI tools and Gemini models to build new generative AI solutions for marketing and sales.
The Google Cloud Center of Excellence will be staffed by Publicis Sapient experts trained on the latest generative AI technology and solutions. Publicis Sapient and Google Cloud are already working with a large bank to modernise its infrastructure and enhance the software development lifecycle with generative AI, aiming to boost efficiency by up to 40%.

The partnership will enhance Publicis Sapient's key business offerings, including legacy modernisation, application modernisation and development, generative AI, data analytics, cloud migration, and database/infrastructure modernisation. Publicis Sapient will also elevate AI applications within marketing through offerings such as Retail Media Networks (RMNs), Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Content Supply Chain and Data Modernisation and Monetisation.
