Jaywing taps UK talent for Digital PR offering
Data, creative and performance marketing agency, Jaywing, has bolstered its Digital PR offering with the appointment of two new hires. Rob Hilborn has been appointed as senior SEO director, and Harriet Dawson joins as a Digital PR specialist.
Both bring with them a wealth of Digital PR expertise from the UK.
Hilborn joins Jaywing from UK creative marketing specialist, Submerge, where he served as head of SEO. He expressed his enthusiasm about the new role, "Having seen the effectiveness of Digital PR, it’s great to be joining an innovative and forward-thinking agency like Jaywing which recognises the value it delivers in driving better SEO outcomes. I’m delighted to be joining the team."
Dawson, who was responsible for building the Digital PR product offering for iProspect in Australia, also expressed her excitement about joining Jaywing's growing Digital PR team.
"Digital PR is already thriving in the UK and other parts of the world, and it’s exciting to be part of the industry as it takes off in Australia as well," she said.
Jaywing has been offering Digital PR services for several years, attracting clients such as Myer. The agency's CEO, Tom Geekie, emphasises the importance of Digital PR in securing high-quality backlinks and media coverage.
"With search engine optimisation becoming more competitive as tools and platforms do more of the heavy lifting, securing high-quality backlinks and media coverage is becoming a crucial differentiator. Digital PR is one of the most effective ways to drive these links from sites with high domain authorities, such as news sites, making it a must-have for any sites wanting to compete against major brands," Geekie said.
Jaywing is an integrated agency specialising in using Data Science to deliver marketing and risk solutions, operating in both the UK and Australia.
