Amaysim dives into home internet market, launches nbn plans

Known for its mobile services, Amaysim has made its debut in the home internet market with the launch of new National Broadband Network (NBN) plans.

The company is introducing four NBN plans with speeds up to 240mbps, starting from $60 per month. The plans offer no lock-in contracts, the ability to use existing modems, and a seamless app experience. Existing Amaysim mobile customers will receive special rates.

Amaysim claims to have already received over 25,000 expressions of interest and nearly 1,200 sign-ups for beta testing in a few weeks. The expansion responds to research commissioned by Amaysim, which revealed that 60% of Australians are actively seeking more affordable internet options, and 70% are open to switching providers for better value and service reliability.

"Our entrance into the NBN market isn't just about expanding our services. We are committing to changing the way Australians experience home internet. Our recent research findings clearly show Australians are tired of overpaying for subpar service. Amaysim is here to offer something better-fast, affordable, and reliable home internet that puts control back in the hands of the customer. Just as we have challenged the mobile market, we're ready to disrupt the home internet landscape with the same dedication to value and customer love that has won us the loyalty of close to two million Aussies." said Vice President of Amaysim, Vir Inder Nath.
