Unlike any job.
Defence Force Recruiting taps 3D OOH in latest campaign from VML
Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) has launched a new campaign, 'Unlike Any Other Job', featuring a series of 3D Out of Home (OOH) ads across Sydney and Melbourne. The campaign, part of the new Australian Defence Force (ADF) Careers Masterbrand Campaign, was developed in partnership with VML and Collider and utilises a blend of technologies, including the Unreal Engine.
"We’re excited to leverage the latest OOH technology to connect with our audience in a new and engaging way, whilst capturing the attention of Australians that may be interested in an ADF Career," said Defence Force Recruiting’s General Manager, Sourcing and Attraction, Fiona Boughton.
The OOH ads showcase the role of an Australian Army Drone Operator, aiming to illustrate the impact of a career in the ADF.
"In advertising, dragging people's attention away from their phones is increasingly challenging, especially with out-of-home ads. The visuals and motion used in these installations have managed to genuinely stop people who are passing by - while at the same time showcasing the cutting edge tech used by our forces," said VML APAC CCO, Paul Nagy.
The campaign was launched on 18th September 2024.
