Menulog teams up with US rapper Latto for snack-focused social series

Australian-born on-demand delivery platform Menulog has partnered with US rapper Latto to create a new social series titled 'Talking Snack with Latto'. The series was filmed during Latto's first visit to Australia and follows the introduction of Menulog's 'Did Somebody Say' Brand platform featuring both Latto and pop icon Christina Aguilera.

The series comprises three episodes, each highlighting Menulog's delivery of popular snacks and aligning with trending TikTok themes. The episodes are titled 'Matchy Matchy', 'Sweatin In', and 'Assembly Required'.

"Latto is infamous for her potty mouth and isn't afraid to talk smack about her rivals so it made perfect sense to get her in the studio to talk smack about our beloved Aussie delicacies. She brought that BIG Energy she’s known for, so we had to cut most of the footage out - but we got enough to work with to make three episodes of top-tier social content," said Sesh Moodley, Executive Creative Tinker.

Fiona Bateman, Head of Brand and Media at Menulog, stated that the campaign with Latto is part of their effort to further integrate 'Did Somebody Say' into Australian culture. Menulog has recently expanded its delivery services beyond restaurants to include a variety of stores, with snack food and treats being the most ordered items.

"Getting Latto to try some of Australia’s best loved snacks for us, in her hotel on the Goldie, felt like a really fun way to land this new offering as well as giving Australia an insight into our rap superstar’s hilarious and incredibly engaging personality,” Bateman said.

Menulog, now part of Just Eat Takeaway.com, a leading global online food delivery marketplace, connects millions of active customers with over 34,000 local partners, servicing 93 percent of the addressable population. The company's recent expansion beyond restaurants reflects the growing demand for a wider variety of on-demand delivery options.
