Forbes Australia has published its inaugural '30 Under 30' list, a compilation that highlights 30 young Australian innovators, trailblazers, and entrepreneurs who are reshaping their industries and impacting society.

The list includes well-known stars, leaders, and entrepreneurs, as well as lesser-known success stories across various fields such as sports, music, social change, technology, science, acting, and e-commerce.

"Our 30 Under 30 list is one that is right for our times because today, in many fields, being young is an advantage. In the past, building something remarkable required a lot of experience, resources and mentorship. But over the past two decades, digital natives - those born with technology in hand - have a natural advantage in disrupting industries," said Forbes Australia Editor-in-Chief, Sarah O'Carroll.

The diverse cross-section to make the list includes sporting heroes like Ariarne Titmus, Jessica Fox, Mary Fowler and Oscar Piastri to musicians The Kid Laroi Troye Sivan and Tkay Maidza, media entrepreneurs like the Cheek Media's Hannah Ferguson, The Daily Aus co-founders Zara Seidler and Sam Koslowski, and Shameless Media co-founders Zara McDonald and Michelle Andrews. Then there's social change champions Chanel Contos and Awer Mabil, tech and science innovators such as Stephanie Claire Smith, Dylan Coyne and Grace Brown, actor Jacob Elordi and e-commerce gurus Tammy Hembrow and Davie Fogarty.

The '30 Under 30' list is presented by Pinterest, with supporting partners Food Recycle (social impact category), Motorola (technology), and Spaceship (finance and VC). The list was curated based on online nominations and extensive research, including discussions with industry leaders. The final 30 were chosen by the Forbes Australia team and a panel of independent, expert judges.

Since its inception 13 years ago, the Forbes '30 Under 30' lists have championed over 10,000 disruptors from more than 50 countries. The finalists have banked more than $100 million in funding, received 14 gold medals, have a social media reach of more than 120 million, four Grammy nominations, one Golden Globes win, nine Billboard Music nominations and five wins. More than 700 jobs have been created by the businesses of the listees. Their average age is just 24.
