Nick Muncaster to spearhead growth at Visual Domain as new MD
Nick Muncaster, a seasoned leader in the advertising and communications sector, has been appointed as the Managing Director of Visual Domain, a full-service video production agency owned by News Corp Australia. Muncaster is set to lead the growth of the Melbourne-based company, bringing with him over 25 years of industry experience.
News Corp Australia took full ownership of Visual Domain earlier this year, with clear ambitions to scale the business in size, clients, and revenue. Muncaster's appointment is seen as a strategic move to drive this growth. His extensive experience includes working for major advertising agencies such as Ogilvy, Wunderman Thompson, and most recently, as Managing Director at AJF Partnership.
"I’ve known Nick for 20 years and have watched him evolve into an outstanding leader and a trusted advisor to his clients. He possesses an innate understanding of the current landscape while also anticipating future trends. When News took full ownership of Visual Domain earlier this year, we were very clear about our ambitions to scale the business in size, clients and revenue. With Nick’s expertise we are ready for the next phase of growth," said Mike Connaghan, News Corp Australia Managing Director, Commercial Content.
Visual Domain is part of News Corp Australia's growing suite of commercial content brands, which also includes Medium Rare, Suddenly, and Storyation. The company first invested in Visual Domain in 2021 before taking full ownership in March this year.
Visual Domain's client roster includes National Australia Bank, MYOB, and Milwaukee Power Tools, among others. The company's focus is on helping brands create impactful visual content that fosters stronger consumer connections, boosts engagement, and drives sustainable growth.
"In today’s fast-paced and ever-evolving digital landscape, visual storytelling is more important than ever for brands and companies. I am thrilled to join Visual Domain to help our clients create impactful content that fosters stronger consumer connections, boosts engagement and drives sustainable growth," Muncaster said.
Muncaster will begin his new role later this month, marking a new chapter in Visual Domain's growth journey.
