Workato unveils 'Agentic', a game-changer in AI-driven business operations

Workato, a frontrunner in automation and AI business workflows, has unveiled its latest innovation, Workato Agentic. This low-code/no-code platform is designed to revolutionise business operations with purpose-specific AI agents.

The solution includes Workato Genie, a tool that empowers users to build and manage AI agents capable of retrieving information, taking actions, and orchestrating processes dynamically. The platform also includes pre-built Genie Apps like ITGenie and SalesGenie to cater to specific business needs.

Workato claims Agentic aims to overcome the limitations of current point-to-point agentic systems by offering a comprehensive, scalable platform with seamless integration and real-time context enrichment. The platform is designed to enhance productivity and operational efficiency through its robust, secure, and collaborative AI-driven orchestration capabilities.

According to the Capgemini Research Institute, 82% of organisations plan to integrate AI agents within one to three years. Workato Genie allows customers to interact with a pre or custom-built Genie through conversational interfaces such as Slack and Microsoft Teams or trigger the Genie through events in applications like Salesforce, Workday, and Jira.

Built on a foundation of security and governance, its AI agents are designed to be domain experts, continuously learn, enrich context in real-time, reason, act securely and responsibly, and collaborate with other Genies.
