Publicis Sapient and Google Cloud launch retail media network accelerator
Publicis Sapient, a digital business transformation company, has unveiled a new partnership with Google Cloud, launching a Retail Media Network (RMN) Accelerator.
The move comes as the retail media sector in Australia continues to grow exponentially, with Morgan Stanley forecasting a rise from $1 billion to $2.8 billion by 2027.
The RMN Accelerator is designed to help clients tap into new revenue streams by delivering personalised ads across digital and physical properties. The aim is to enhance customer engagement and experience, while also providing a robust framework for scaling a retail media network.
"In a sector growing 23 per cent a year, some Australian brands risk being left behind, which is why we think this accelerator will help local brands move more quickly to take advantage of the retail media opportunity," Publicis Sapient Chief Technology Officer - Australia, John Costello, said.
The RMN Accelerator includes an omnichannel web application and a dashboard for measuring performance across campaigns, audiences, budget and pacing. It also features a generative AI-enabled audience explorer, post-campaign wrap-up reports, and a robust blueprint for scaling a retail media network.
For Publicis, the collaboration enables its 'Power of One,' or blend of systems integrator and media agency capabilities across the network, to be extended through Google Cloud and Google Marketing Platform.
The RMN Accelerator is a differentiated high-value solution that accelerates time-to-value for clients. It allows retailers to monetise consumer and product data by establishing an advertising platform on their digital and physical properties.
In addition to its immediate benefits, the RMN Accelerator also provides long-term opportunities for expansion beyond retail to other industry networks like travel, hospitality, automotive and QSR. This suggests that the RMN Accelerator could become a significant tool for a wide range of industries looking to capitalise on the growing retail media sector.
