Revlon's bold lips campaign with Emotive

Revlon, in collaboration with independent creative agency Emotive, launched a new campaign for its SuperLustrous lipsticks to coincide with the festive season encouraging women to 'go bold' with their choice of lip coverage.

The campaign went live on 18 December 2023 and builds on Revlon's 'Live Boldly' brand platform. Executions created by Emotive included a series of posters that play off the names of the individual SuperLustrous shades, such as 'Wine with Everything', 'Unapologetic', 'Dramatic', 'Berry Rich', and 'Shameless'. The aim is to approach lipstick advertising in a refreshing way that resonates with the Australian consumer during a time of year where fun, tradition, and expectation reign supreme.

"The Revlon Festive Campaign represents an opportunity to approach lipstick advertising in a refreshing way which resonates with the Australian consumer, at a time of year where fun, tradition and expectation reign supreme," Revlon Head of Marketing A/NZ, Amy Kingon Smith, said. "The light-hearted creative is a celebration of Summer Festivities, our consumers and the Revlon shade names which we hope spark some joy when out-and-about."

Creative Director at Emotive, Kat Topp, shared her enthusiasm for the campaign. "As someone who plans to spend her holidays being an Extra Spicy Heartbreaker with a penchant for Wine with Everything it was an absolute joy to bring to life a fresh tone and feel for Revlon that celebrates the festive spirit in a delightfully decadent way."

The campaign rolled out nationally across Out Of Home (OOH), social and digital platforms and continues in early 2024.
