Mamamia welcomes Seize the Yay to podcast network
The popular podcast 'Seize The Yay', hosted by entrepreneur Sarah Davidson, is set to join the Mamamia podcast network from mid-September. The show, which focuses on career and personal growth, is the second external podcast to be added to Mamamia's network in 2024, following 'Everybody Has An Ex', hosted by Georgia Love.
Mamamia Media Company currently hosts a network of 58 podcasts aimed at Australian women. The addition of 'Seize The Yay' is part of a broader strategy to expand the network's content offering. The podcast will be available across the entire Mamamia network, including written, social, and video content.
"We are big fans of Sarah Davidson at Mamamia and Seize The Yay is a podcast we’ve been eyeing for some time. Mamamia is a female-founded business and as an independent media company, nobody understands better than us how hungry women are for this kind of content," said Zara Curtis, Chief Content Officer at Mamamia.
Davidson, a lawyer turned entrepreneur, expressed her excitement about the move. "I'm so excited about the evolution of Seize The Yay and joining Mamamia. As a female founder myself, being part of the largest women's media company is so exciting and we can't wait to share what's in store," she said.
Mamamia, which boldly claims to be Australia’s #1 women’s media brand, reaches seven and a half million Australian women monthly across various platforms. The addition of 'Seize The Yay' to its network is expected to further enhance its content offering.
"In addition to Mamamia’s 57 owned and operated shows, Seize The Yay is the second external podcast added to our network in 2024. Everybody Has An Ex, hosted by Georgia Love, has also joined the world’s biggest network for women, with season five of the show set to launch on September 11. Nobody knows podcasts - or women - like Mamamia and we are constantly looking for new ways to meet her content needs. The future of podcasting at Mamamia is very bright," Curtis added.
