Ezra Brooks Bourbon taps Masterchef's Pete Campbell for Father's Day campaign

Ezra Brooks Bourbon this year partnered with Masterchef season 13 runner up and Poly Surry Hills executive chef Pete Campbell for its Australian Father’s Day campaign, 'BBQ’s, Bourbon and big celebrations'.

The campaign, which ran for three months in the lead up to Father's Day, saw Campbell create three recipes incorporating Ezra Brooks Kentucky Straight Bourbon, a product exclusively sold in Australia.

The recipes included a cocktail named 'Yuzu New Fashioned', 'Oyster Mushrooms with Bourbon Bearnaise', and 'Sticky Bourbon Glazed Pork Belly'. These recipes were designed to showcase the versatility of the bourbon, which is a product of Pinnacle Drinks, and its suitability for a variety of dishes and drinks.

The campaign also involved an influencer marketing strategy on Instagram. This included a paid partnership with Campbell and a gifting strategy targeting Sydney-based foodie influencers and BBQ enthusiasts. The influencers received bespoke BBQ kits containing Ezra Brooks Kentucky Straight Bourbon, meat rubs from Alsa Fine Foods, marinades from Stubbs, and premium meats from Handller Meats.

The campaign was further supported by a media relations campaign promoting the recipes and Ezra Brooks Kentucky Straight Bourbon gifting, with the PR elements of the campaign managed by Maven PR.
