Voices in tech rise,

Change echoes, amplified.
Hotwire Australia platforms industry leaders in new content series
Hotwire Australia has debuted a new content series, 'Flip the Focus', aimed at highlighting the voices and stories of leaders in communications, marketing, and tech.
The new platform launches with a podcast series that seeks to elevate the perspectives of women investors, entrepreneurs, and influential figures in the tech industry.
Hotwire Australia's Creative Director, Jen Dobbie, who is the host of the first series, said: "Flip the Focus will provide us with multiple opportunities to unpack some important conversations in tech. With our first podcast launching around this year's International Women's Day, it was a great opportunity to hear from some of the most extraordinary female voices in the industry."
In the first episode, Noga Edelstein, who is a Venture Partner at Black Nova VC, NSW Government adviser on systemic changes to the tech industry, and former General Counsel at Yahoo!7, shares her story of co-founding the on-demand home services startup, Urban You.
The second episode features Claire Waring, founder of AI-powered web app Gather, discussing the complex topic of motherhood, invisible labour, and how to break into tech entrepreneurship.
"Lasting change won't happen if we only act one day a year. This first Flip the Focus series is about providing clear information and compelling perspectives to inspire action," said Dobbie. "It's not about quieting anyone's voice. It's not about less funding for male-led tech businesses; it's about levelling the playing field for everyone. We want to amplify voices who are traditionally less likely to be heard; female funders, founders, and fearless leaders in tech."
Hotwire Managing Director of Communications APAC, Melissa Cullen, said: "Hotwire Australia's Flip the Focus series is our way of amplifying the many conversations happening right now in the communications and tech industries. We hope our first series will go a long way to shining a light on some incredible women in tech who are bravely championing change - whether that's through funding female-led businesses, starting their own business or showing great leadership."
