Riot Games and electriclime dance to the beat of Teamfight Tactics Mobile launch

Riot Games, the gaming giant, has teamed up with production house electriclime to mark the Asia Pacific launch of Teamfight Tactics Mobile (TFT) with a film that captures the strategy game's excitement and unpredictability.

Directed by Pabz Alexander, the film features the popular TFT character Pengu, dancing through the streets of Singapore. The film not only showcases the game's cross-play feature between mobile and PC but also includes a number of influencers, adding a layer of real-world connection to the virtual gaming experience. The climax of the film is a dance-off between Pengu and their fans, reflecting the game's playful spirit.

Alexander said TFT provides an exciting and unique gaming experience for its players.

"We wanted to reflect this in our film. Bringing the chaotic and fun element to its launch was a great opportunity for myself and the electriclime team and capturing the essence of Pengu in the commercial was a thrilling challenge," he said.

The film was released on 22 November 2023. Production involved a diverse team of professionals, from producers to costume wranglers and animators.

The launch of TFT in the Asia Pacific region is a significant move for Riot Games in the region's growing gaming market.
