Saveful launches 'Saveful September' campaign to aid Australian families
Saveful, a free app designed to help Australian families save money, food, and time, has launched a month-long campaign titled 'Saveful September'. Coinciding with the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste on September 29th, it aims to provide practical and tangible solutions to families looking to make more sustainable choices.
Since its launch in November 2023, Saveful has garnered over 20,371 users across Australia and claims to have helped families save an estimated potential of $42,243.47, 2,885.87 kg of food, and 5,482.47 kg of carbon. The app features flexible meal frameworks, chef hacks, tips and tricks, a tool to track and monitor the impact of users' actions in both estimated kg’s and dollars saved, and a community feature.
The campaign sees Saveful partnering with industry leaders such as BEGA, Nestle, Birds Eye, Goodman Fielder, Rabobank, and Qantas. The app has also welcomed new partners including SunRice, Gumtree, Good & Fugly, SPC, Gander, Chief Nutrition, Yume Foods, and industry supporters the Compass Group and OzHarvest Use It Up.
