Cadbury and Peters Ice Cream launch nostalgic 'Chocbuster' pop-up store in Sydney
Cadbury and Peters Ice Cream have teamed up to open a pop-up store in Sydney's Wynyard Station. The store, named 'Chocbuster', is a throwback to 1990s video rental stores.
The pop-up will be open for two days only, from Wednesday 28th August to Thursday 29th August 2024, from midday to 6pm.
In a bid to celebrate the recent launch of Cadbury Choc Tops in Australia, the store will be giving away 8,000 free Cadbury Choc Tops and freshly made popcorn. The store features DVD covers inspired by iconic films, a 1.6 metre-high giant Cadbury Choc Top for photo opportunities, and free Cadbury Choc Tops and popcorn.
"Australians love a cozy movie night in, and to celebrate the recent launch of our new Cadbury Choc Tops, we wanted to inspire consumers to recreate the ultimate movie night at home through Chocbuster, where we’ll be giving away 8,000 free Choc Tops to Cadbury fans in Sydney," said Vanessa Mason, Senior Brand Manager at Peters Ice Cream.
The pop-up store is part of a campaign to celebrate the recent launch of Cadbury Choc Tops in Australia. Cadbury Choc Tops are now available at Coles, Woolworths and independent grocery stores nationwide in a pack of four.
"We can’t wait to see everyone step back in time at Wynyard Station, enjoying popcorn and Choc Tops while roaming our nostalgic store," added Mason.
