19 Crimes debuts 'Possessed Wine Bar' in Melbourne, promising a haunting experience

In a daring move, 19 Crimes has unveiled a 'Possessed Wine Bar' in Melbourne, transforming The Shady Lady in Fitzroy into a museum of the world's most possessed and haunted items.

The launch on Thursday, 24 October, is in celebration of 19 Crimes' new limited-edition range of Halloween Wines, including a Shiraz and Hard Chard. The bar will be open to the public on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th October.

Guests will need to sign a waiver to enter due to the potential risk of becoming possessed. The Possessed Wine Bar will feature real possessed items hand-picked from around the world, displayed in a museum-like experience. The bar will also offer three bespoke cocktails created for the event, tarot card readings, themed DJs, and ouija boards on every table.

"In recent years, Halloween has become more novelty than scary, so we wanted to create a genuinely haunted event with real evil spirits. A bar where the wine (and experience) rewards only the brave," said Phil van Bruchem, Creative Director of Splash TWE.

Splash TWE has partnered with Mango Communications to develop a partnership with Pedestrian.TV, lifestyle influencers, and earned media to promote the event. At the end of the week, the Possessed Wine Bar will undergo a formal saging from a practicing Witch to ensure only good spirits remain.
