WPP returns to SXSW Sydney 2024 with AI-powered marketing showcase

WPP, the global communications company, is planning its return as an official partner to South by Southwest Sydney (SXSW Sydney) in 2024 with a focus on creative transformation and AI leadership.

The event, scheduled for 14-20 October 2024, will see WPP hosting 10 sessions featuring partners, clients, international guest speakers, local innovators, and thought leaders. WPP Open, the company's AI-powered intelligent marketing operating system, will also be showcased at the event.

“After a stellar first year, WPP is delighted to be returning to SXSW Sydney in 2024. We couldn’t think of a better place to showcase creativity as a force for growth," WPP Country President in Australia and New Zealand, Rose Herceg, said. "This year, our audience can expect to see what creative transformation supercharged by WPP Open – our intelligent marketing operating system powered by AI – looks like and learn how it is helping to future-proof our industry."

Rounding up each day of the conference, WPP will be hosting exclusive networking events for senior marketers. Further details will be released in coming months.

Managing Director of SXSW Sydney, Colin Daniels, was delighted to be welcoming WPP and its agencies back to SXSW Sydney for its second year.

"Just like in 2023, WPP’s stage sessions will be a must-see for marketers and brands alike. We look forward to taking our partnership to the next level this year as we create innovative and engaging content for our audiences,” he said.
