News Corp Australia has revealed its program for the South by Southwest (SXSW) Sydney 2024, set the take place at the media company's activation stage at Tumbalong Park, The Ideas Dome.
The program, underpinned by research from The Growth Distillery, includes an exclusive opening night VIP party for clients and marketers. The week-long action, inspired by The Australian's brand platform, Welcome to the Contest of Ideas, will be open to all attendees.
Presentations at The Ideas Dome will include contributions from The Australian, News.com.au, Body+Soul, and Vogue Australia.
One of the highlights of News' SXSW Sydney program is The Growth Distillery's research, Technographics: The Most Influential View Of Your Customer… That’s Hiding In Plain Sight. The research will be presented on the main ICC stage by Dan Krigstein, Director of The Growth Distillery.
The Australian will officially launch The List: Innovators magazine with a unique client experience at Thrive House on board Law Connect Superyacht, the only on-the-water action at SXSW Sydney. Lou Barrett, Client Partnerships Managing Director, will host an exclusive VIP event at the W Hotel where guests will be treated to a special performance by Gamilaraay woman, musician and creator Thelma Plum.
"We are thrilled to be a supporting partner of SXSW Sydney and to showcase the power of News Corp Australia’s brands in such a dynamic setting. This event provides a unique opportunity for us to invite our client and agency partners to experience our brands at a consumer level, while immersing themselves in the creativity and innovation that SXSW Sydney brings to the marketing community. It’s an inspiring environment where we can connect, engage, and explore new ways to drive commercial success together," said Barrett.
