Salesforce to acquire AI voice agent developer Tenyx
Salesforce has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Tenyx, a developer of AI-powered voice agents.
Tenyx's technology is designed to create natural and engaging conversational experiences, with the aim of transforming customer service. Upon the close of the acquisition, Tenyx will extend Salesforce's existing autonomous agent capabilities for Agentforce Service Agent by integrating its voice AI solutions. These solutions are specifically tailored for service use cases.
Tenyx's co-founders, Itamar Arel (CEO) and Adam Earle (CTO), along with their team, will join Salesforce upon the close of the acquisition.
The integration of Tenyx's voice AI expertise with Salesforce Service Cloud is expected to help Salesforce set new standards in customer experience. This acquisition is part of Salesforce's commitment to revolutionising customer service through AI.
The acquisition is expected to close in the third quarter of Salesforce's fiscal year 2025, ending October 31, 2024, subject to customary closing conditions.
