DEPT taps Enigma's Brad Stevens to lead APAC creative

Global digital agency DEPT has appointed Brad Stevens to the newly created role of Executive Creative Director for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

Steven joins the agency with two decades of experience, most recently having spent the past three years as Group Creative Director for indie creative shop, Enigma. He joined the agency two years after it acquired his creative agency, Born & Raised, in 2019. Stevens has previously held roles at M&C Saatchi, Six Black Pens, FutureBrands and Landor (Paris Office).

The new role will see Stevens leading DEPT's regional creative efforts creative efforts from the Sydney office. He will also serve as the face and voice of creativity for the team in Australia.

"Brad brings a wonderful mix of craft excellence and disruptive thinking, which makes him the perfect fit to lead our creative team and output in the region," said APAC SVP of Creative and Media at DEPT, Jason O’Donnell. "Brad will bolster our talented marketing team in Australia led by recently promoted VP of Creative and Media Jessica White. Together we’ll win clients’ hearts as we continue our growth across the Asia-Pacific region."

Stevens will work closely with the leadership team to build processes and structures that elevate the quality of creative output. In the last 12 months DEPT has acquired several new clients, including Pit Viper and Grill’d.
