Asendia unveils major rebrand, signalling a decade of e-commerce evolution

Global e-commerce solutions provider, Asendia, has unveiled a significant rebrand, marking a decade of business evolution.

The rebrand follows the introduction of a new Group Holding Structure in the second half of 2023, featuring two distinct brands: Asendia and ESW. Asendia, specialising in the delivery of cross-border parcels, small packets, and mail solutions, has transformed from a mail-driven business into a global ecommerce player. Over the past decade, the company has more than doubled its revenue, with Asendia Group's revenue reaching €2.5 billion in 2023.

On the other hand, ESW is dedicated to global Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) e-commerce technology solutions. In June 2022, ESW acquired Scalefast, offering brands and retailers a broader portfolio of technology and services that support various stages of a company’s development.

The rebrand represents Asendia’s evolution and aligns to its e-commerce business transformation. Asendia now employs over 1,500 people across four continents (North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania), in 17 countries and delivers to more than 200 destinations.

"Our commitment to e-commerce excellence is unwavering, but to better reflect the company we are today, we felt now was the right time to give Asendia a new look," said Domenico Pereira, Chief Marketing Officer, Asendia. "The updated brand elements aim to communicate a cohesive narrative that reflects our successful transformation, our values, vision, and innovative spirit."

Asendia said it's combining the experience and expertise of founding companies, La Poste and Swiss Post, to carve out a niche in the global e-commerce landscape. The company added its rebrand is a testament to Asendia's journey from a mail-driven business to a global e-commerce leader, reflecting the successful transformation and an unwavering commitment to e-commerce excellence.
