Colony Group, a creative agency with operations in Australia, Papua New Guinea, and Fiji, has acquired Queensland-based Map Creative Strateg in a bid to expand its client base across Australia and bolster its service offerings in the Queensland market.

Map Creative Strategy Pty Ltd, led by agency directors Jeremy Bews and Carla Steadman, brings over five decades of combined experience in client relationships, strategic planning, and creative excellence to the table.

Following the acquisition, Colony Group has rebranded its Queensland arm as Creative Outpost. Bews will serve as Agency Director of the newly merged agency, and Steadman will take on the role of Group Account Director at Creative Outpost.

With office in Brisbane and Cairns, Creative Outpost will encompass 45 professionals offering services across campaign strategy, digital, social, content, SEO and SEM, graphic design, and media. The agency's client roster spans government, tourism, property, not-for-profit, mining, and corporate sectors.
