ABC iview unveils new films in 'Always free. Always entertaining' campaign

ABC iview, which claims to be Australia's most popular on-demand free-to-air BVoD service, has launched two new films as part of its offering. The films were produced by the award-winning agency, Howatson+Company, and directed by Freddy Mandy from FINCH for the ABC. The campaign, titled 'Always Free. Always Entertaining', subverts well-known tropes from popular genres such as reality TV and teen sci-fi.

The campaign was inspired by the current high prices of streaming services and the cost-of-living crisis, which is forcing many Australians to reconsider their streaming subscriptions. ABC iview stands out as a completely free streaming service, offering world-class drama, comedy, sports, news, kids shows, and more.

The campaign will run across BVoD, cinema, pre-roll, digital, and social platforms, supported by Out Of Home advertising.
