Rumble Studios bolsters sound design team with new appointments
Rumble Studios has bolstered its Sydney sound studio with the appointment of Sound Designer, Renee Park, and the promotion of Dan William.
Park, who has a background in voice recording, direction, and sound design, previously spent four years at Cutting Edge in Brisbane, where she was mentored by Mike Lange.
"Renee was a real stand out for us. Her attitude, passion, and potential sets her up for an incredible future in the craft. She’s the perfect addition to our team and we’re thrilled to have her on board," said Rumble founder, Tone Aston.
Park said she was excited to take the next step in her career. "It’s going to be an amazing experience to work within this group of such creative and passionate people. I’m excited to see what I can add to the team and how I develop my talent over the coming years."
In addition to Park's appointment, Rumble Studios has also promoted Sound Designer Dan William, who EP/Partner Michael Gie said had "shown outstanding maturity and skill in his progression.”
Aston said: "Dan has elevated every part of his skillset beyond our expectation over the past year. From his creativity in sound design, technical understanding, voice direction and awareness in the room. It’s a very deserved promotion and we’re looking forward to seeing him continue on this trajectory."
William said it had been a great four years so far at Rumble. "I’ve matured professionally and personally and I’m very grateful for the opportunity to further challenge myself and my creativity within this team."
