Porter Novelli Australia appoints Victoria Fruean as GM Sydney amid new hires
Porter Novelli Australia has made a series of promotions and new hires including Victoria Fruean, who joined the company in mid-2023 as General Manager - Sydney Lead.
In her newly promoted role, Fruean (pictured) will be responsible for driving growth in the Sydney market alongside the firm's executive leadership and sister Clemenger Group agencies.
"Since joining Porter Novelli last year, I have been impressed by the smarts of our people and clients, the breadth and depth of work that we do, and our approach to developing talent. I'm grateful for the opportunities that I've already had in my time here and excited for more meaningful work and success with the Sydney team and our clients this year," said Fruean.
In addition to Fruean's promotion, Lauren Clancy has been elevated to Client Partner - Technology & Cyber. Clancy will lead the company's efforts in enterprise technology and cyber incident preparation and response across Australia.
Madison West, who joined Porter Novelli in 2018, has been promoted to Client Partner - Melbourne Lead. West has made significant contributions to the company's expertise in Aboriginal Affairs.
Cal Easton has assumed an expanded national role of Strategy and Digital Lead. Easton will guide the company's evidence-led approach to delivering creative and innovative integrated communication programs.

We're thrilled to recognise the value and expertise that Victoria, Lauren, Madi and Cal and have shown to our business and our clients," said Porter Novelli Australia Chief Executive Officer, Rhys Ryan.
Porter Novelli has also welcomed several new team members in 2024, including Patrick Condon as a graduate consultant in Sydney, and both Jack Langley and Jess Gough as consultants in Melbourne. These new hires completed the Clemenger Consulting Graduate Program in 2023.
