Seenthis bolsters Australian team with key executive appointments

SeenThis, a company specialising in instant video ad loading technology, has announced the appointment of two new executives to expand its team in Australia. The new executives are Tara Duncan, based in Brisbane, and Michael Lopes, based in Sydney. Both Duncan and Lopes have been named as Agency Partners in their respective markets.

Tara Duncan, formerly the Consortium Agency Sales Manager at News Corp in Brisbane, has won several sales awards in the Queensland market. In her new role, Duncan will support a national portfolio of agency clients and focus on the adoption of SeenThis' instant-load, high-quality video advertising technology across the Queensland market. "I am looking forward to evangelising SeenThis unique, high-performing video streaming benefits to Queensland and national markets", said Duncan.

Michael Lopes, previously with Seven West Media, will work within the ANZ commercial team across a portfolio of key holdco agency partners, focusing on driving adoption and growth across these groups. "I am looking forward to working with our partners at GroupM and Dentsu bringing the SeenThis streaming technology to even more client teams who are seeking performance and sustainability across their video and high impact campaigns", Lopes stated.

SeenThis' adaptive streaming technology allows programmatic ads to be streamed instead of downloaded, ensuring high-quality video content that loads instantly on any device, regardless of connection speed. The technology also provides significant and immediate CO2 emission reductions, as streaming banners require significantly less data than typical HTML-5 display ads. SeenThis serves billions of streams for over 5,000 brands in more than 50 countries.

"Tara is well-positioned to drive SeenThis's revenue growth. Her strong relationships with key decision-makers within leading agencies will enable her to capitalise on immediate and sustained revenue opportunities", said Adam Roberts, General Manager ANZ, SeenThis. He also added, "We are thrilled to welcome Tara and Michael to the team at such an exciting point in the company’s journey as we continue expanding the adoption and integration of our tech across new clients, partners and platforms. They both bring a huge amount of passion and determination to the team and our growing list of clients around the country."
