Neighbourhood Strategy welcomes Mike Ronkoske as new head of strategy
Neighbourhood Strategy, a consultancy firm that has been in operation for seven months, has announced the appointment of Mike Ronkoske as its new Head of Strategy. Ronkoske, who previously served as a Strategy Partner at Clemenger BBDO Melbourne for five years, brings a wealth of experience from his time at various US agencies, including Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, Venables Bell and Partners, and Saatchi & Saatchi LA.
In his new role, Ronkoske will lead the consultancy's product with a focus on the creative agency market. His expertise spans across brand, behavioural change, cultural change, creative, innovation, and comms strategy. He has worked in various sectors including auto, tech, fashion, FMCG, and government in both the US and Australia.
"Only seven months into our journey as a business, we have already forged some incredible partnerships with creative agencies. Bringing someone of Mike’s pedigree and talent only enhances the offering for agencies and brands to access senior, award-winning strategy talent when they need," said Jacqueline Witts, CSO and Founder of Neighbourhood Strategy.
Neighbourhood Strategy is currently collaborating with design platform Canva to define its global brand architecture. The consultancy is also behind the 'Strat Chats' community group, an initiative developed by Witts. Two Strat Chats events are scheduled for August in Sydney and Melbourne.

Prior to joining Neighbourhood Strategy, Ronkoske led a 'Culture Change Unit' at Clemenger BBDO.
