Vogue Living celebrates Australian design talent with inaugural VL50 Awards

Vogue Living, Australia's design and lifestyle publication, has unveiled the VL50, a celebration of the country's top 50 creatives spanning interior designers, product designers, architects, artists, and landscape designers.

The VL50 is featured in the March/April edition of Vogue Living, which is currently on sale.

An awards ceremony for the VL50 will be held at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, presented by Mobilia. The special guest for the evening is Spanish-born, Milan-based architect and designer Patricia Urquiola.

The VL50 Awards have been years in the planning by Vogue Living Editor-In-Chief Rebecca Caratti, with the aim to recognise and celebrate Australia's creative industry and highlight local talent to Vogue Living's global audience.

“The VL50 represents the best of Australian design. They have been selected for their impact on the current design landscape and the unwavering pursuit of their vision, they are leaders in their field and the stars on the ascent. It makes for a very special issue of Vogue Living," Caratti said. "Our awards tonight bring the country’s top creatives together in the same room for an occasion to remember. After months of preparation and collaboration it’s set to be one of the biggest moments in Vogue Living’s history."

Caratti thanked sponsors Mobilia, Range Rover, Waterford and Ruinart and highlighted Salvatore Fazzari, director of Mobilia, as one of the first to believe in the idea.

The VL50 2024 list includes top talents from various fields such as interior design, product design, architecture, art, and landscape design. All winners will be showcased in the May/June issue of Vogue Living, on sale April 18. Vogue Living boasts a cross-platform readership of 392,000 and a social media footprint of close to 5 million across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok and YouTube.
