Lamb on pizza crust,
Aussie flavours, local trust,
In Domino's we trust.
Domino's and MLA partner up to launch lamb-based menu in Australia
Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) has joined forces with Domino's to launch a new range of lamb pizzas, available exclusively in Australia. The partnership aims to diversify and expand the relevance of lamb in quick service restaurants (QSR).
The new Domino's Summer Lamb Pizza and Meltzz range, launched this week, is led by the Lambassador Sam Kekovich as part of the Summer Lamb Campaign. The new menu items include Greek Lamb Tzatziki and Lamb Meatlovers pizza, Greek Lamb Tzatziki Meltzz, Slow Cooked Lamb pasta and Cheese 'n' Mite scrolls.
"Australians love their lamb and associate it with high quality and flavour. This means adding lamb to a menu allows foodservice operators to capture the opportunity to positively differentiate their business," said Graeme Yardy, MLA's Domestic Marketing Manager. He sees a significant opportunity for lamb to feature on fast food menus due to its versatility, taste and quality.
Michael Treacy, Domino's ANZ Head of New Product Development and Innovation, views the launch as an opportunity to expand Domino's menu options and support Australian sheep and lamb producers. "Our ongoing commitment to championing local produce allows us to proudly present Aussie classics made with ingredients grown and sourced right here in Australia," he said.
