Amanda Laing, Foxtel Group's Chief Commercial and Content Officer and BINGE Managing Director, has announced her resignation from the Foxtel Group. Laing, who has been instrumental in shaping the Foxtel Group's content strategy, will be leaving the company later this year.

During her tenure, Laing has played a key leadership role in the company's transformation. Under her leadership, the Foxtel Group launched Kayo, Binge, Flash, and Hubbl. She also led numerous negotiations with US studios for content and channel acquisitions and was a leading executive on sports rights deals.

Patrick Delany, CEO of the Foxtel Group, spoke highly of Laing's contributions, stating, "Since joining the Foxtel Group in 2018, Amanda has been instrumental to the Foxtel Group's content strategy and has played a key leadership role in the transformation which has enabled us to launch Kayo, Binge, Flash and Hubbl during her tenure."

Laing's departure comes after a period of growth for the Foxtel Group, with an increase in subscribers and revenue during her tenure. However, her departure raises questions about the future direction of the company's content strategy and leadership.

Reflecting on her time at the Foxtel Group, Laing said, "I am very proud of the transformation and growth we have achieved at the Foxtel Group over the last six years. I've had the privilege to work across both sport and entertainment, my two great loves, to drive strategic change and to deliver the best content in the world for our customers. Laing will remain with the company until September to ensure a smooth transition of leadership.
