ARN takes out Media Partner of the Year at 2024 IMAA Awards

The Independent Media Agencies of Australia (IMAA) has unveiled the winners of its 2024 IMAA Awards for Media Partners, naming Australian Radio Network (ARN) as the overall IMAA Media Partner of the Year. The network also took home the award in the Ideas and Proactivity category.

The awards ceremony took place at Sydney’s Mary’s Underground, with over 250 independent media agency leaders and media partners in attendance.

"ARN is honoured to be named this year’s IMAA Media Partner of the Year. As a network, we’ve long valued our relationship with the independent media agency sector and the incredible creativity, innovation and client service that indie agencies are delivering," said ARN National Sales Director, Nick Flood. "Over the past 12 months, the national indie sector has continued to prove its value for its clients, and the IMAA has been an essential part of that – we look forward to continuing our partnership with the indies in 2025."

Other winners included Nine (TV), oOh!media (Out-Of-Home), Nova (Audio), ACM (Publishing & News), StackAdapt (Digital), Val Morgan Cinema (Service & Relationships), SCA (Value & Proposition), Cartology (Data & Insights), JCDecaux (Innovation), and Meta (Effectiveness).

The awards are voted on by IMAA member agencies and judged on criteria of service, proactivity, value proposition, data and insights, innovation, and effectiveness.

"It’s not often that media organisations are recognised for their contribution, particularly the work they do with agencies, and the critical insights, creative and effectiveness they offer," said IMAA CEO, Sam Buchanan. "Since the IMAA’s inception, our media partners have been incredibly valuable supporters of our mission to celebrate and advocate for indies nationally – so it’s a privilege to get the opportunity to recognise them and the valuable role they play for our members and the industry as a whole."
