Canva welcomes former HubSpot exec Rob Figlio as new chief customer officer
Former global chief customer officer at HubSpot, Rob Giglio, is switching CRM for design and joining Canva as the new chief customer officer.
Giglio, who spent two years leading HubSpot's Go-To-Market teams, told LinkedIn users he admired Canva's mission to democratise design and is eager to contribute to this vision.
"After two exciting years at HubSpot, I've decided to wrap up my journey there. It's been a pleasure leading the company's Go-To-Market teams, which was an opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in the industry," Giglio said. "I'm delighted to share that while I have said good-bye to some great teammates at HubSpot and a fantastic customer base; I'll still get to contribute to a similar mission at a like-minded organisation, as Canva's newest Chief Customer Officer."
Giglio's career spans over two decades of senior leadership roles, including nearly 11 years at Adobe and a stint as CMO for DocuSign. He also has retail experience with Williams-Sonoma and Gap. His official start date at Canva is 29 April.
A Canva spokesperson said the team is looking forward to Giglio's contribution to growth.
"We're incredibly excited to welcome Rob to the team as we continue to double down on empowering every team and organisation to design," the spokesperson said.
