Legacy systems fade,
With Pega's GenAI aid,
Modernisation made.
Pega adds new capabilities to GenAI platform
Pega has rolled out new capabilities for its GenAI Blueprint platform, a solution designed to modernise legacy systems. The new features leverage generative AI to map and modernise legacy systems in seconds, addressing the significant issue of technical debt that many businesses face. These enhancements aim to assist IT teams in reducing this debt and innovating faster.
Since the platform's launch, over 60,000 blueprints have been created. The new features include tools for analysing workflows, process mining analysis, data definitions, and integrations. Pega GenAI Blueprint™ has been rapidly adopted, making it the fastest adopted solution in Pega’s history. New features are released weekly to make app design easier and faster. The new Pega GenAI Blueprint features are now available to anyone with a free Pega user login.
Vice president of platform engineering at Navy Federal Credit Union, Arnie Ignacio, said: “Our team is heavy focused on continually modernising our systems so we can provide the best possible experience to our members. Pega GenAI Blueprint has greatly accelerated our ability to reimage our systems and get all stakeholders on the same page. By enabling us to import existing documentation on our legacy systems into our blueprints, we can kickstart our digital transformation projects even faster by significantly shrinking the time it takes to map our existing technology, which we can then optimize into more modern applications.”
Chief product officer at Pega, Kerim Akgonul, said: “There are only so many Band-Aids that IT can keep applying before their systems reach a breaking point. But digital transformation is a herculean undertaking that’s typically fraught with failure. These new features in Pega GenAI Blueprint turbocharge modernisation projects so organisations can finally shed their outdated tech and curb technical debt while paving the way for a future-ready business.”
