Brisbane's Stav, Abby & Matt to continue on B105 Breakfast with new long-term contracts

Brisbane breakfast radio show, Stav, Abby & Matt on B105, is locked in for the long haul, with the trio of hosts signing new long-term contracts ahead of the show's seventh anniversary celebrations.

Abby Coleman, Stav Davidson, and Matt Acton have been on-air together since 2017, and have consistently led the ratings in the 6am-9am timeslot, with six straight wins this year. The show can be heard from 6am to 9am, Monday to Friday, on B105.

SCA chief content officer, Dave Cameron, said: "Stav, Abby & Matt is one of this country's best radio shows, and we couldn't be more excited to have this team continue to dominate at Breakfast time in Brisbane on the mighty B105 for many years to come. Stav, Abby and Matt have consistently delivered number one results in Breakfast over the last few years, and our ongoing commitment to this brilliant show will no doubt excite both our listeners and commercial partners and clients."

The Hit Network, which B105 is part of, targets people aged 25 – 54, skews female and features a mood-focused, 'feel great' pop music format alongside local breakfast and national drive shows.

"I’m somehow still getting used to the early morning alarm, but it’s magic that I get to spend the morning with lifelong friends, and we will never take our loyal listeners for granted," said Coleman.

Acton said: "Continuing our show on B105 Breakfast will take us past a decade of Stav, Abby & Matt together, but it feels like we’re only getting started. What a privilege it is to wake up Brisbane every morning."

"I’ve always hoped to be a ‘1 Club player’ and next year will bring me to 20 years at B105, and I can honestly say I love it more today than any other time I’ve been here," said Davidson.
