Clemenger BBDO announces a clutch of new promotions in creative department

Clemenger BBDO, the Australian creative and innovation company with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, has announced a series of promotions within its creative department. The move underscores the company's commitment to nurturing talent and fostering leadership within its ranks.

Ant Phillips, a long-standing creative at Clemenger, has been promoted from Group Creative Director (GCD) to Executive Creative Director (ECD). Phillips' journey with Clemenger spans over two decades, starting his career as an Art Director in 2004. His promotion to ECD marks a significant milestone in his career and a testament to his creative prowess.

Adrián Flores, Chief Creative Officer at Clemenger BBDO, lauded the promotions, stating, "Clems has long been an incubator for amazing creative leaders. These promotions recognise some truly phenomenal talents who will no doubt continue that legacy. Plus Ant."

Phillips echoed Flores' sentiments, expressing his enthusiasm for his new role and the future of the company. "Clems obviously holds a special place in my heart, which is why I’ve been here for over 20 years. I’ve spent that time soaking up as much knowledge as I can from many of Australia’s greatest creative leaders who have passed through the building. I’m looking forward to playing a bigger role in shaping our creative future with the incredible talent at our disposal. And Adrián."

In addition to Phillips' promotion, the creative team of Riana McKenzie and Zoe Perrin, known collectively as RiZo, have been promoted to senior creative roles. The duo joined the agency in 2022 and have since made significant contributions to the creative department.

Ben Bryan, who joined Clemenger in January 2021 as a motion designer, has also been promoted. Bryan has moved from a junior role to a mid-weight Art Director position, marking a swift progression in his career at the company.
