Zscaler debuts new partnerships with Google and NVIDIA

Cloud security provider Zscaler has expanded its partnership with Google, integrating Chrome Enterprise into its Zero Trust Exchange Program to help organisations simply and strengthen their approach to Zero Trust.

The partnership was announced today at the Zenith Live 2024 conference, alongside a new partnership with AI technology company NVIDIA that is set to enhance the Zero Trust Exchange platform with more robust security solutions and accelerated AI-powered copilot technologies.

As well as proving enterprise users with advanced threat and data protections without the need for VPNs or additional browsers, the Google partnership will prevent the exfiltration of sensitive enterprise data from apps like Gmail and Drive.

"We are thrilled to partner with Google to deliver a comprehensive zero trust security solution through Chrome Enterprise that enables secure access to applications without the need for VPNs or new enterprise browsers," said EVP Business and Corporate Development at Zscaler, Punit Minocha.

"Google has been a pioneer in enterprise zero trust access and has enabled secure access to corporate resources for Google employees around the world, without the need for VPNs," said VP Engineering at Google Cloud Security, Mayank Upadhyay.

Meanwhile, by leveraging NVIDIA's AI advancements, Zscaler aims to deliver new user experiences and security-centric copilot services to the enterprise. This partnership is expected to dramatically increase the ability to process data from the Zero Trust Exchange platform, further enhancing Zscaler copilot's ability to proactively defend enterprises against cyber threats and simplify IT and network operations.

"The advancement of a cybersecurity vendor's AI is becoming the critical ingredient in its ability to maintain an advantage over adversaries," said Punit Minocha.

"Generative AI and accelerated computing continue to transform every industry and enterprise, and require support spanning from cybersecurity to IT operations," said vice president of strategic partnerships at NVIDIA, Pat Lee.
