A new chapter starts,
With Lunts at helm, they embark,
On a creative lark.
Cummins&Partners appoints New York MD Louis Lunts; world's 'most awarded' suit
Australian independent agency Cummins&Partners has appointed Louis Lunts as Managing Director of its New York office. Lunts, who was the most highly awarded suit globally in 2023, joins Cummins&Partners from Adam&EveDDB.
This announcement follows other recent high-profile appointments at Cummins&Partners, including Sarah Raine from Special as the Melbourne office lead, and Kath Chen from VML leading the Sydney office.
Lunts brings with him a stellar record of creative and effectiveness accolades. His achievements include helming Cannes’ most highly-awarded campaign of 2023, CALM’s “The Last Photo”, earning DDB’s first-ever D&AD Black Pencil for “Hopeline19”, and an Emmy nomination for the International Paralympic Committee’s “#WeThe15”.
In his new role, Lunts will work closely with partners Olivia Santilli and Sean Cummins at Cummins&PartnersNYC. His appointment was welcomed by Michael McConville, Cummins&Partners’ Global CEO, who lauded Lunts' talent, work ethic, and "warm nature".
'Louis is a rare talent and a wonderful human. He cares about the work, and he cares about people equally. He’s unfailing in his desire to do right by both of those things, and his exquisitely warm nature means people love working with him,' said McConville.
Lunts and McConville have a shared history at Adam&EveDDB London, where they ran high-profile accounts such as Volkswagen, John Lewis, PlayStation, BlackRock, Deutsche Telekom, Campaign Against Living Miserably, The International Paralympic Committee and Frontline19.
Expressing his excitement about his new role, Lunts said, 'When Michael and I spoke, it very quickly became clear that our shared values could lead to something special. We already knew we could create standout work together because we’ve done it before, but the opportunity to shape something new and ambitious was too good to turn down.'
Cummins&Partners recently announced Its creative-effectiveness program with MMM partner, Mutinex.
'We've done the building of it all now. We’ve got the people, the processes, the product. We’ve got the creativity, craft and care. And now we’ve got the crew that knows how to predict what we can deliver, execute it, prove it and evidence real growth for our people, clients and creative culture. We’re buzzing because we know we can deliver differently, and frankly, better,' McConville concluded.
