Nick Hayes joins The Media Store as head of digital

Independent Australian media agency, The Media Store, has appointed Nick Hayes as its new Head of Digital. Hayes' most recent role was Group Head of Strategy at Russell Curtis and Janes Media Advertising.

Hayes has a diverse background in digital roles, having worked on both the client and agency side over the past 15 years. His career includes positions at RCJ’s LeapFrogger agency, iProspect, Carlton Football Club, Ticketmaster, the Australian Football League, and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. In these roles, Hayes has been responsible for developing, executing, and measuring the effectiveness of multi-channel digital campaigns across social, paid search, and programmatic platforms.

Stephen Leeds, CEO of The Media Store, expressed his excitement about the new appointment.

"Nick brings the enviable mix of digital strategy, platform expertise, people management, and innovative product development ambitions to the agency, as well as marketing experience. His expertise rounds out our senior team as we continue to provide best-in-class, cross-channel media solutions to deliver to current and future clients’ business objectives," Leeds said.

For his part, Hayes is eager to contribute to The Media Store's growth. "I'm energised by The Media Store's ambition for growth and how they're planning for it, investing in the people and tools to evolve clients and win new business," he said.

The appointment of Hayes follows several new client wins for The Media Store during 2024, including the Melbourne Royal Show. The Media Store's broader client list includes ENGIE, RMIT, Hino, Cure Cancer and ZircoData.
