Apparent appoints Hamish Stewart as chief creative and experience officer
Full-service agency Apparent has announced the appointment of Hamish Stewart to the newly created role of Chief Creative and Experience Officer.
The move was part of the agency's strategy to elevate and expand its integrated offering. Stewart is a multi-award-winning creative with over 25 years of experience.
Stewart's previous roles include National Executive Creative Director at CHEP Network and senior positions at R/GA Sydney, M&C Saatchi, and GHO. He has led creative initiatives for major Australian brands including Optus, CommBank, Google, and NRMA Insurance. In addition, Stewart has been a mentor for two startup accelerators - Remarkable and EnergyLab.
At Apparent, Stewart will oversee the agency's entire creative output, working with a team of over 150 and a portfolio of clients across Australia and globally. His appointment follows the recent addition of Simon Pugh as Chief Media Officer in May.
Suzy Smiley, Managing Director at Apparent, said: "We’re excited to further bolster our leadership with the addition of Hamish into the new chief creative and experience officer position. His extensive, award-winning experience with major brands at some of Australia’s top agencies makes him the ideal leader to help us deliver on our ambitious agency strategy and continued global growth."
Stewart said: "Apparent is dedicated to solving clients’ complex business challenges by integrating creativity, media, data, and technology. I’m delighted to be joining the agency and collaborating with its talented team to continue delivering exceptional results for our clients and accelerating the agency’s overall creative offering."
